Students Thrive Under Davis’s Leadership on the Compton Unified School Board
Compton Unified posted the #1 graduation rate in L.A. County and the #1 test scores in California among similar schools, gaining half a grade level in student performance during the pandemic while almost every other low income school in California lost ground.
Notably, Compton Unified was named a 2025 Magna Award Grand Prize Winner by the National School Boards Association for its innovative solutions to district challenges.
